Do Not Move Beds From Cabin to Cabin (10 beds in each cabin…..a fire hazard exist with more than 10 beds in a cabin and this practice is NOT allowed) CABIN Clean-up -Remove all personal items to loading area -Remove mattress covers and shake out vigorously.   -Put mattress covers back on beds and insure they are straight and wrinkle free -Move beds to center of floor and sweep -Close all windows (mainly during cold weather) -Rinse mops completely to avoid streaking -Thoroughly mop where beds go -Return beds to their place -Put all trash in small trash cans and then dump them into big trash cans outside (don’t forget trash in windows & under beds) -Rinse and wash cabin trash cans -Sweep center of floor (sweeping toward and out the door) Turn Heater and - or Air Conditioner off -Rinse mops completely to avoid streaking -Thoroughly mop center of cabin floor, fireplace (if you have one), fireplace step (if you have one), bathroom (if you have one in your cabin) mopping up tracks as you go   -Shut the door. -DO NOT LOCK DOORS -DO NOT GO BACK INTO CABIN AFTER CLEANING.  YOU WILL TRACK IT UP!!! -Return mops, buckets and cleaning equipment to storage area Rinse out mops & mop buckets completely after use -Pick up trash outside of and around cabins. BATHROOM  Clean-up -Remove all personal items to loading area -Dump small trashcans in large trash cans (don’t forget trash in windows in the showers and the entire bathroom area) -Wash small trash cans thoroughly and replace -Thoroughly  sweep and leave one broom in bathroom area -Rinse mops thoroughly to avoid streaking, and mop -Mop from back of Bathroom to door, mopping up tracks as you exit.  Shut the Door. -DO NOT GO BACK INTO BATHROOM BUILDING AFTER CLEANING. YOU WILL TRACK IT UP!!!! -Clean and return mops, buckets and cleaning equipment to storage area. Rinse out mops completely after use -Pick up trash outside of, and around Bathroom building. -Notify staff of needed repairs. (broken windows, screens, leaky faucets and etc.) ACTIVITY BUILDING  Clean-up -Remove all personal items to loading area General Cleaning - sinks, counters, microwave, refrigerator and etc -Move all chairs and tables to center of floor and sweep -Rinse mops thoroughly to avoid streaking, and mop where chairs and tables will go -Return chairs and tables back to their place (along walls) -Thoroughly sweep bathroom, staff quarters, behind the bar and center of Activity Building -Rinse mops completely to avoid streaking and thoroughly mop bathroom, staff quarters, behind the bar and center of Activity Building -Mop from back of Activity building to door, mopping up tracks as you exit.  Shut the Door. -DO NOT GO BACK INTO ACTIVITY BUILDING AFTER CLEANING.  YOU WILL TRACK IT UP!!!! -Clean and return mops (rinse thoroughly), buckets and cleaning equipment to storage area. -Pick up trash outside of, and around Activity building. -Notify staff of needed repairs. (broken windows, screens, leaky faucets and etc.)
