| As you can see in the 1992 photograph (right) "they are back." This is common, when mama birds find a safe and secure place to raise their babies, they will return often. No doubt this is a returning resident of prior years. |

| This Great Heron was injured and taken in (temporally) by the Camp Director Wayne Edgar. Before notifying the Park Service, she regained her bearings and went back to the wild. "To hold and observe, up close, one of God's creatures is truly gratifying," Says Wayne. |
