Frank Bunch in 1969.
These babies are growing fast and will
be out of the nest soon.  This nest is

This Great Heron was injured and taken
in (temporally) by the Camp Director
Wayne Edgar.  Before notifying the Park
Service, she regained her bearings and
went back to the wild.  "To hold and
observe, up close, one of God's
creatures is truly gratifying,"  Says
Wayne.
Wise?  Maybe!
Hawk! Hawk! ..........Hawk!
Hoot! Hoot!
Do not attempt to take in ANY wild
animal.  Contacting the local Authorities
is always the prudent thing to do.  It is
dangerous and illegal to possess
certain wild animals.
